In December David Gunnarsson presented DiPietro's newest mask (top photos.) From the artist:
"Once again the theme of the mask is military to honor his father who was a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam war. Rick also wanted his dog in the design, I painted the dog as a soldier on the other side."
DiPietro started the season wearing the same mask he wore last season (photos at bottom.) He sustained a facial injury though, so switched back to a previous mask in October (first photo below.) He also changed pads.
Started the season with this mask.
