Robin Lehner 2011-12 Mask

Robin Lehner of the Ottawa Senators (born July 24, 1991 in Gothenburg, Sweden.)

Artist: David Gunnarsson

In February Lehner unveiled a new mask, a variation of his previous one.

From Dave: "Robin Lehner's new mask goes in the same style as his previous success mask. I got so incredibly many e-mails after that mask. Robin and I wanted to do something totally new. I love to always come up with new ideas and explore new styles, always think outside the box, never stand still. Together we created this silverish stone inspired look with violent cracks, mixed with hard vintage style and celtic feelings. All mixed with cool Ottawa graphics, especially the O logo to connect with the 3rd jersey."

Below is his first mask of the season.
From the artist per InGoal Magazine: Robin had a vision of how to mix stones, with Celtic themes, with Ottawa logos, and just make it look old... So I took all the elements and created a design that is a mix of it all, with a lot of silver and the Ottawa logos in a new way... The design is what I call 2 designs in 1. From a distance you have one look, and when you come closer a new world of cool details opens up and a second design is created in front of your eyes. All together a very unique look is created, with stones that are cracked and create cool lines.
