I have finally started!

I am trying to push myself to get going on these posts. It's hard this season, but I'm really trying.

If there is a goalie you'd like me to do first, just leave a comment and I'll do them as they are requested. If no one asks for anyone in particular, I'll just go alphabetically by team.

Gibson is up, and I'll try to at least do one a day, hopefully more.

John Gibson 2016-17 Mask

John Gibson of the Anaheim Ducks (born July 14, 1993 in Pittsburgh, PA.)

Artist: David Gunnarsson

From the artist:

This is John Gibson's latest Ducks mask in a new era of Ducks masks. John knew what he wanted on his new mask, and this mask is a first step in a series of masks. John wanted to pay tribute to legendary Ducks players from the history of the franchise. And what could be better than start with the first Ducks goalie, Guy Hebert. So this mask is a total tribute to Mr. Hebert. The design is inspired from Hebert's iconic Ducks masks created by Dennis Simone. And when you come closer the mask transforms into a storybook. There on the side behind the feathers, you will find a painting of Hebert, and also his iconic mask.

I'm Here and I Will Be Back with New Masks

I'm getting a slow start this season as my father passed away a few months ago and I'm still dealing with all that. I'm finding it hard to focus on much.

But I have been liking tweets and saving photos and bookmarking articles about new NHL masks for 2016-17 season. So I'm preparing.

Check back in a bit and hopefully I'll be started. Thanks for hanging in there with me. It's been a rough couple of years with Dad's health, etc.
